I grew up in the Appalachian Mountains of Tennessee, where my parents were Wildcrafters, which means exploring the forest for herbal and medicinal remedies. Surrounded by the lush forests, I developed a deep intuition through my connection with God and nature. Being part of a local church community further strengthened my calling to show kindness and support to those in need, drawing inspiration from the teachings about Jesus. However, little did I know that my involvement with the church would leave me with lasting trauma that I would have to grapple with for years. The challenges I faced in my childhood, including an abusive mother and the pain caused by the church, ignited a strong desire within me to help others, ultimately guiding me toward a career dedicated to assisting and guiding individuals on their spiritual journeys. Getting married to a minister, raising three children, and pursuing a college education in social work were pivotal moments in my journey. These experiences, along with ongoing learning and personal growth, have allowed me to develop the skills I possess today.
My journey to free myself from trauma and anger has led me to practice various spiritual therapeutic methods, including faith in God, spiritual direction, contemplation, forest bathing, meditation, silence, and energy healing. These practices have provided me with the tools to live with clarity and balance, allowing me to manage anxiety and depression without relying on modern medication.
My faith in God, the universe, and the energy that flows through our lives has grown stronger and I am passionate about offering supportive and non-threatening sessions where individuals can feel safe from judgment or unsolicited advice. This newfound freedom has inspired me to help others overcome their barriers and reach their highest potential. Everyone, regardless of faith, belief, or identity, is welcome!
With over 39 years of experience in ministry, I have dedicated myself to guiding and teaching others in their spiritual development. In 2019 I earned certification as a Spiritual Director and became a certified Reiki Master in Usui Reiki in 2020. Finally, in 2021, I completed the required Clinical Pastoral Education Units at Johnson City Medical Center to become a Chaplain.
My experiences have instilled in me the confidence to create a space dedicated to Spiritual Therapeutics, where I can focus on healing others holistically and promoting Spiritual and Emotional Wellness. However, I also understand that my services may not be for everyone. I intend to serve those specifically seeking what I have to offer.
